He Kicked His Brother Out Of His Wedding For Pulling Up A Slideshow With Embarrassing Pictures Of His Wife And Talking About Her Weight In The Middle Of Their Reception
This guy and his now-wife just tied the knot last weekend after they were together for seven years, and the big day was supposed to be perfect.
However, his 30-year-old brother completely ruined it with a thoughtless stunt that left his wife crying.
According to him, his brother has always been weirdly into “pranks,” but he thinks the supposed jokes are just embarrassing and mean-spirited.
“Growing up, I’d laugh it off or get mad, and my brother would say I was being too sensitive,” he recalled.
“But this time, it went way too far.”
That’s because, in the middle of their reception, his brother got up to deliver a speech. He figured his brother would say something heartfelt. Instead, a slideshow featuring “hilarious” photos of his wife was displayed to all the guests instead.
It included old pictures from his wife’s Instagram where she was either crying, looking vulnerable, or simply wasn’t in a flattering angle.
“And my brother starts making jokes about her weight fluctuations, saying how she used to ‘look like a twig’ when we first started dating, and now she’s ‘more well-fed,'” he revealed.
His wife was understandably mortified. Her face turned white, and she even started quietly crying. Despite that, his brother just continued the speech as if it was extremely funny; meanwhile, the entire room was dead silent.

This infuriated him, and he eventually stood up during the speech and gave his brother a piece of his mind. He told his brother to get out, said the speech was over, and that he didn’t care if they were brothers.
His wife was sitting there humiliated in the midst of this confrontation, and his brother still tried to act like what he did wasn’t a big deal. In fact, his brother actually accused him of ruining the fun and claimed that all the other guests thought it was comical.
“No one laughed. Not one person,” he detailed.
“My brother refused to leave at first, so I told security to get him out. He stormed out, calling me a ‘[freaking] drama queen’ on the way out.”
Yet, rather than being livid about the speech, his parents are actually furious at him for embarrassing his brother at the wedding. They believe his brother “didn’t mean it” and that he should’ve just let the whole thing slide.
On top of that, his mom apparently said that his wife was overreacting as well since that was just part of his brother’s sense of humor. His wife still has not stopped crying over what happened, and he decided to cut off his family – telling them that he and his wife needed to take a break.
Nonetheless, his parents keep blowing up his phone and blaming him for tearing apart their family and ruining his own wedding over a “joke.”
“I get that I blew up, but I couldn’t stand seeing my wife so hurt,” he vented.
And in the wake of all this drama, he’s been wondering if kicking his brother out was justified or if he really did go too far.
