Over the past few years, the world has been wrestling with the effects of an infectious disease. Along with that, there has also been an alarming rise in domestic violence.
Following the lockdowns during the pandemic, incidents of domestic abuse in the United States have increased by eight percent.
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, fifteen percent of violent crimes in the U.S. can be attributed to domestic violence. In addition, approximately one in four women are victims of this type of abuse. Unfortunately, it’s a pretty common occurrence in our world.
TikToker Kaitlyn Brown (@alexiiiiiils) is just one of the many victims, and she’s sharing footage of her apartment after her ex-boyfriend destroyed it.
At the start of the video, Kaitlyn explained that she had broken up with her ex-boyfriend, and he had decided to retaliate by wrecking every item in her and her son’s home. She proceeded to reveal his full name and inserted a photo of him in the video.
Then, she continued to describe the damage her ex had caused. First, she pointed to a blank wall with two empty picture frames hanging on it. Below the wall, on the floor, was a large pile of clutter.
“This wall was all full of pictures that is now all over my ground and smashed and demolished,” said Kaitlyn. “He emptied out the cat litter box, dumped it all over my apartment, all over my bed, cut up every single article of clothing.”
In her bathroom, the cabinet on the wall is pictured with its doors swung wide open, containing nothing but empty space. Every single one of her makeup products had been ruined, thrown onto the floor, and urinated on.
To make matters worse, he posted a video on social media with his new girlfriend shortly after creating the colossal mess in Kaitlyn’s home.
