On October 14, 2025, a 29-year-old Italian model named Pamela Genini was reportedly stabbed to death 24 times in her apartment by her wealthy, 52-year-old ex-boyfriend, Gianluca Soncin. After their breakup, he had been stalking her and begging her to take him back.

Gianluca used a duplicate key to enter Pamela’s apartment. That day, Pamela had managed to contact one of her ex-boyfriends, Francesco Dolci, and told him that Gianluca had broken into her apartment and was threatening her.

She had him call the police and specifically requested that the responding officers identify themselves as pizza delivery drivers so as not to trigger Gianluca.

But when authorities arrived at the scene, they announced that they were police at the door. At that point, Gianluca allegedly became violently aggressive and killed Pamela before she could be safely rescued.

He stabbed the model multiple times and then tried to take his own life by slashing his throat twice. However, he survived and is now in prison.

Previously, Pamela had apparently told her friends that she was afraid of Gianluca because of the stalking and the threats. He had beaten her badly before, causing her to seek medical treatment at a hospital. In addition, he had attempted to throw her off a hotel balcony while they were on vacation.

Five months after Pamela’s death, her remains were transferred to a family chapel. That was when cemetery workers discovered her tomb had been violated.

The coffin had been forcibly opened and resealed with fresh silicone. There were also loose screws on the ground.

The worst part was that the model’s head was missing. The fresh silicone suggested that the decapitation had happened recently. The perpetrator had allegedly placed flowers inside her coffin before resealing it. Pamela’s head still has not been located.

The police believe that at least three or four people were involved in the desecration of her corpse. The investigation is focused heavily on Francesco Dolci. Extensive searches were conducted on his property, but nothing was found.

Francesco claimed that he and Pamela had been in a romantic relationship and that he had given her money each month for financial support. He denied any involvement in the desecration and declared that someone was trying to frame him.

According to Pamela’s inner circle, she never had a romantic relationship with Francesco and stated that he was a stalker who had a deep obsession with Pamela.

In messages to her parents, Pamela told them to lock her bedroom door if Francesco ever came to the house because he often stole her personal belongings. She stated that he wasn’t dangerous, just a little odd.

In March 2026, security footage from the cemetery showed Francesco visiting Pamela’s grave at least 10 times. Many of the visits occurred at night. He took a photograph of Pamela’s grave during each visit.

Unfortunately, investigators were unable to review footage from before March because the cemetery’s security system automatically records over older footage.

Pamela’s mother believes that Francesco is guilty or at least knows something about the situation. She has asked him to come forward so that Pamela can finally rest in peace.
