“Yesterday, communicating in dreams seemed like science fiction. Tomorrow, it will be so common we won’t be able to imagine our lives without this technology,” said Michael Raduga, founder and CEO of REMspace.
“This opens the door to countless commercial applications, reshaping how we think about communication and interaction in the dream world.
That’s why we believe that REM sleep and related phenomena, like lucid dreams, will become the next big industry after AI.”
The successful result was achieved after almost five years of meticulous research. After the first communication went smoothly, the researchers have been continuously trying to make improvements to their technology. Each new attempt yielded better results.
REMspace is also looking forward to enabling real-time communication in lucid dreams. The process is extremely complicated, but the company believes they can accomplish this in just a few months.
By 2025, the Silicon Valley startup will release the first device in the world to combine the functions of a polysomnograph.
It is called LucidMe PRO. It will have the ability to track EEG, EOG, and EMG through a mobile app and see all the sleep stages with accuracy.
