His Sister’s Outraged That He Left Her Kid With A Friend, But She Ghosted Him All Day And Was Hours Late To Pick Up Her Son

“She’s known my family for years, and my nephew and sister know her well, so I knew he’d be comfortable and safe,” he detailed.

He filled his family friend in on the situation and provided his sister’s contact information in case of anything. Afterward, he left his nephew with her.

His sister didn’t end up arriving until 5:00 p.m., and rather than being thankful to him for babysitting way beyond their previously agreed-upon schedule, she was furious at him.

He was accused of abandoning his nephew by leaving him with their family friend. His sister claimed that he had “one job” and should have waited for her.

He tried to point out how his sister had promised to be back early in the morning and proceeded to ignore all of his calls and texts. Plus, he made sure to leave his nephew with someone they both trusted.

Even so, his sister thinks he should’ve sacrificed his plans, saying that “family comes first.”

“I feel guilty for leaving him, but I was hours late to my own event and frustrated by her lack of communication,” he vented.

Nonetheless, he’s been left wondering if bringing his nephew to a family friend after his sister ghosted him all day was actually the wrong thing to do.

Isn’t his sister the one who abandoned her son by failing to show up on time? How would you have handled this situation?
