He tried telling his wife to just let the situation go. Yet, she couldn’t and wound up calling his sister’s husband to spill the beans.
“I was shocked and really angry at my wife. My sister’s marriage is on the rocks now, and her husband is seriously considering divorce,” he detailed.
He ultimately told his wife that if his sister got a divorce over this, he’d end their marriage as well. She didn’t expect that, either, and kept apologizing, swearing she’d never do something like that again.
“But I don’t think this is repairable,” he admitted.
His wife has been begging him to keep their kids in mind and realize how disruptive a divorce would be for their family. Still, he’s not budging, and things have been really tense at home.
He has been sleeping in another bedroom and refusing to talk to his wife or eat any meals with her.
“My wife has cried a few times, but I think those are empty tears,” he vented.
Regardless, with his relationship at stake here, he can’t help but wonder if contemplating divorce is the right move or not.
