This Couple Received An Anonymous Letter Detailing All The Secret Rooms And Hidden Compartments Tucked Away In Their 130-Year-Old Home

Courtney then revealed a small, locked door that was situated right across from the toilet, which was mentioned in the letter, but the couple already knew about the feature before they bought the house. As the door swung aside, the cramped entrance opened up to a huge trunk room.

The last secret room was in the basement. Courtney headed downstairs to search for the entrance. Unfortunately, the former owners had fortified the opening, which blocked access to it.

Courtney was only able to take a peek inside. It appeared to be another crawl space used to store furniture, but it was still super spooky.

All these rooms were not shown in the house’s blueprints because it was built before permits existed.

Several other TikTok users took to the comments section to discuss the secrets they uncovered in their own houses.

“I love old homes. Mine has a secret staircase, secret passage, and a secret attic in the attic,” chimed in one user.

“Cool. My friends lived in a Henry Ford house in Detroit. In spite of being a self-declared non-drinker, the house had several hidden bars,” commented someone else.

“So cool!!! We lived in our house for 5 years before we found a secret safe hidden behind a fake wall in a bookcase (it was empty but still exciting),” added a third.
