“What’s bothering me is the thought behind this whole thing. It feels like his comfort took priority over us spending time together. The way he mentioned it so casually makes me feel sidelined, like I was an afterthought in his decision.”
She spoke to her mom about the whole thing, and her mom thought that this guy was lying to her about there only being a single seat in first class for him.
She then went online to see if her mom was right, and she sadly was. There are a grand total of four additional seats in first class, so why is this guy lying to her?
It just makes her feel bad all the way around, and she’s debating whether or not she should tell him that she knows he’s lying.
“Now I’m feeling a little betrayed and distrustful,” she continued. “How can I approach this without sounding accusatory (since he’s the one who paid for both the flights in the first place)? Maybe I shouldn’t bring it up and just let it go?”
