She’s told him how his lack of a proposal makes her feel like he doesn’t love her or want to commit. Regardless, her boyfriend doesn’t get it. Each time she broaches the topic, he just flips the script and accuses her of being ungrateful for what they already have.
“But I can’t help how it makes me feel inside, and even being told one day that he will [propose] doesn’t seem to help my emotions from taking over,” she vented.
Not to mention, their anniversary was just yesterday, and people kept asking her why her boyfriend hadn’t “put a ring” on it yet.
Nonetheless, her boyfriend seems to think there’s no problem with starting their life as an unmarried couple. And since they’re at an impasse, she’s unsure whether being upset about their lack of engagement is understandable or not.
