She’s Not Buying A Baby Shower Gift For Her Sister’s Sixth Child Because She Believes Her Sister Should Already Have Everything She Needs

That’s why, upon receiving the baby registry, she decided to put her foot down. She made it clear that she’d attend the baby shower to celebrate but that she wasn’t going to be buying her sister a baby shower present this time around.

She simply thought her sister should already have everything she needed for the new addition to her family.

Well, her sister disagreed and got extremely upset with her, claiming that all of her children should be treated equally.

“And if I gave her a gift for the first, I should for all of them. My sister even said I wouldn’t understand because I don’t have kids yet,” she vented.

This argument has caused a ton of tension in their relationship, and she and her sister haven’t been speaking to each other. In the wake of the drama, she’s been left wondering if refusing to buy a sixth baby shower present for her sister is really so crazy or not.

At what point do baby showers become overboard? Should she feel pressured to buy something for her sister’s newborn or not?
