She Went On A Bad Date With a Guy Who Used Pickup Artist Tricks On Her, Leaving Her Feeling Dehumanized And Disgusted

Her date proceeded to say if she was hypothetically walking through the woods and found a strawberry patch, how high would she think the fence would be around the strawberries?

She replied that she didn’t even picture there being a fence, so then he said she should picture breaking into the strawberry patch.

He questioned her about how many strawberries she would eat, and she responded perhaps four or five.

He kept on with his weird, made-up story, stating that he wanted to know what she would do when the farmer of the strawberries caught her in his patch. She quipped that she would issue an apology.

They wrapped up the evening, and in the days that followed, he texted her to invite her out on a second date.

That following Monday, she was in her office, thinking about how odd it was that her date had come up with a very specific made-up story as a psychological test.

She Googled the strawberry psychology test and found out that it was right out of a pickup artist’s handbook.

Apparently, the test is a way to gauge how easy a girl is, and according to it, her lack of envisioning a fence means she has no boundaries.

The test also says that her picturing eating four or five strawberries means she clearly has a desire to be with four or five people at the same time.

Oh, and since she issued an apology to the farmer, she’s carrying guilt and is a good girl on the inside. She felt bothered upon finding this all out.

“…It’s just so dehumanizing to be gamified in that way, to be a game piece in his stupid, little game,” she added.
