So, following a couple of conversations with friends and a few sleepless nights, she decided her brother deserved to know the truth. She met up with him to grab some coffee and exposed Anna’s affair.
“He didn’t believe me at first, but when I told him exactly what I heard, he went white. He went home and confronted Anna that same night, and it turned into a huge blow-up,” she revealed.
Her brother is now divorcing his wife, and he’s obviously heartbroken. He also got a DNA test, which confirmed that he wasn’t Ben’s biological father.
This has turned her brother’s world upside down. He’s grappling with the fact that he still loves Ben despite everything being completely different now.
In the wake of all this drama, she’s been receiving backlash from her family, too, because they all believe she should’ve kept her mouth shut. They think she was out of line for getting involved and accused her of breaking up a family.
“But I just couldn’t live with myself letting him raise a child that wasn’t his, especially when Anna was keeping it a secret,” she vented.
Nonetheless, since her brother is so hurt and Ben is also going to be impacted, she’s now been left wondering if telling him the truth and basically blowing up his whole life was really the right thing to do.
