“Many live in my husband’s home country, so I assumed their connection was not physical due to distance,” she detailed.
Nonetheless, the texts were undoubtedly “steamy,” with some inappropriate images and memes as well.
To make matters worse, some of the women were actually girls her husband swore that he no longer spoke to. This included his “first love,” his ex-girlfriend from his teenage years.
“And I even found messages from their mutual friend, telling him to stop contacting her because it was driving a wedge in her marriage,” she revealed.
Given all of this overwhelming evidence of infidelity, she confronted her husband and said she was divorcing him. To her, their entire relationship seemed like a total lie.
He didn’t take the news well, either, and proceeded to spiral. At the same time, she confided in a male coworker who happened to be going through a similar situation.
They leaned on each other “emotionally” for about two weeks before they both decided it wasn’t right and cut contact.
“Our conversation wasn’t [inappropriate], but it was providing each other the emotional attention we were lacking in our marriages,” she clarified.
Nonetheless, both her husband and her coworker’s wife have since heard about their discussions. And now, her husband and her coworker’s wife are trying to flip the script, calling her and her coworker cheaters.
The accusation was particularly rich coming from her coworker’s wife, who, according to her, had a year-long affair with a roommate.
“But his wife blames me for ruining her marriage, and my husband is telling everyone that I cheated on him,” she vented.
