“I can’t believe how evil these kids are,” she said. “I contacted [the school’s] administration and told them that I was keeping my son home for the week so they can come up with a plan that will make my son feel safe enough to go to school.”
“In all honesty, I do think [the] administration tried their best, but it had been a month, and there was still a crying match every morning getting my son to school.”
“Another school in the district had a fair, and my daughter and I dragged my son to it in hopes getting him out [of] the house would be helpful. We are walking around when my son stops dead in his tracks and goes pale. Gerald and his mom are walking in our direction. I decided I wanted to talk to Gerald’s mom.”
She spoke to Gerald’s mom privately about the bullying, but Gerald’s mom excused his behavior. She tried again to get Gerald’s mom to understand how harmful Gerald was being, but she didn’t care.
She was about to walk away when she heard her daughter let out a yell. She whipped around to find Gerald pinching her daughter.
Her son stepped in and told Gerald to stop, and she raced up to Gerald and grabbed him by his arm, pulling him back over to his mom.
“I crouched down and looked him in the eyes and told him, “You have messed with now both of my children’s peace and attempted to blow their fire out. You are the nastiest bully I have ever seen, and I hope you get what you deserve.”
Gerald laughed in her face and called her children wimps. Anger rushed over her, and she ended up knocking Gerald’s mom right out.
She then turned to Gerald and said when he watches his mom’s face swell up and sees her pain, he can sit there and think about how he’s the reason this happened. She also told Gerald he should explain his mom’s face to his dad and let him know it’s because he’s a bully.
She’s left wondering how long she should have waited to get involved and if she was mean for punching Gerald’s mom in the face.
