She Just Found Out Her Husband Lost Over $230,000 In The Stock Market, And He’s Been Lying To Her About Money For A Long Time

They have two children and their youngest is six-weeks-old, so their marriage has been pushed to the limits with the sleep deprivation that surrounds a newborn. Adding his lies about money on top of this, and she’s at her wits’ end.

She knows this is going to come across as extremely privileged: she’s not concerned about the amount her husband has flushed down the drain since they make a lot of money. She also doesn’t need her husband’s money in order to be fine.

He earns around 3 million dollars a year, while she makes $300,000, so they can afford to take the hit, but she wishes her husband thought to save that money for the college funds they set up for their kids instead.

She’s over her husband’s dishonesty about money, and she was hoping to stay home with their kids for another year or two, but she doesn’t see how that’s feasible given she no longer trusts him with their finances.

Additionally, her husband likes to throw it in her face that he makes a crazy amount, yet any time they have an unusually high credit card bill, he says it’s her fault.

“What do I do? How do I approach this?” she wondered.
