She couldn’t take it anymore and wound up loudly calling both her husband and his coworker out in front of everyone.
“If there’s something you two want to share, I’m sure we’d all love to hear it,” she stated.
This made the room go dead silent, and her husband’s coworker turned bright red before leaving to go to the bathroom.
As for her husband, he was livid. He accused her of overreacting, embarrassing him, and making everyone else feel uncomfortable.
“He insists they’re ‘just friends,’ and I took it too far. But I feel like her behavior was totally inappropriate, and his refusal to put a stop to it hurt more than anything,” she vented.
Regardless, her husband has barely been speaking to her ever since the party, and now she’s not sure if she actually went too far.
Should her husband have stepped in if his coworker’s behavior was clearly making her upset? Was her outburst justified or not?
