A week ago, she actually contacted him and revealed that she’s still in love with him and interested in getting back together with him.
She admitted she struggled with being lonely and that she didn’t do anything with the guys she was chatting with.
She suggested going to counseling together to see if that can help them get back on a good path.
He told his family and friends about this, and they insist he should run as fast as he can and not give her another chance, as they all feel she’s nothing but dishonest.
They have also filled him in on some of the lies she’s previously told them, underscoring her inability to be truthful.
“Despite all of the pain she’s caused me, I still love and care for her so much,” he added. “I tried to fix things many times, but she never reciprocated any of my attempts. In fact, when I was at the peak of genuinely trying to be the best man for her that I could, she left me without saying a word.”
“The day she left, she told me she loved me and to have a good day. As soon as I left, she immediately began packing her things.”
“I just didn’t understand how she could run away like that without saying anything. After 8 years, I don’t even get a face-to-face goodbye? It just felt like the ultimate betrayal. How could someone [who] loves me cause me so much pain?”
He’s concerned that if he does take her back, he could come home one day all over again to an empty home.
