His Brother’s Trying To Guilt-Trip Him Into Paying For Part Of His Wedding Because He Can’t Go Since He’ll Be Vacationing In Italy

His brother didn’t care about that, though, and totally went off on him, accusing him of being selfish and prioritizing his vacation over the event. On top of that, Mike stated that he’d regret skipping the wedding for the rest of his life.

Still, the real kicker was how his brother attempted to guilt-trip him into paying for part of the big day.

“Mike suggested that since I wouldn’t be attending, I should at least help pay for the wedding to make up for it,” he revealed.

He found that to be entirely unfair, especially because he wouldn’t be there and never intended to cause any drama in the first place.

Regardless, the rest of his family has heard about the situation, and everyone has begun taking sides.

Some of his relatives agree that his vacation takes priority, given it was booked first, while others view him as a jerk for not supporting his brother on such an important day.

“And Mike hasn’t spoken to me since,” he vented.

Now, with both his trip and his brother’s nuptials right around the corner, he’s genuinely unsure if he’s in the wrong here or not.

Can you believe his brother wants him to contribute financially to the wedding? How would you handle this?
