He’s Not Splitting A $4,000 Vet Bill With His Girlfriend Since She’s The One Who Lost Their Dog And Caused The Pup To Get Hit By A Car

He didn’t have that kind of cash just lying around, so he ultimately agreed to cover $1,000. After all, he’s already footing the bill for his own schooling right now; meanwhile, his girlfriend’s parents are funding her education.

“And I told her the rest is on her because it was her fault Charlie got lost in the first place,” he revealed.

If you couldn’t have guessed, his girlfriend thought that was completely unfair and stated that, since they both love Charlie, they should split the bill evenly.

She even claimed to feel horrible about what happened already and didn’t like that he was “punishing” her by making her pay more.

He, on the other hand, truly believes that this whole situation never would’ve happened if his girlfriend had just paid attention to their pet.

“It’s not like it was a freak accident or anything. It was negligence, and I don’t feel like I should have to cover her mistake,” he vented.

Nonetheless, some of his girlfriend’s friends have accused him of being way too harsh on her. Now, he can’t help but wonder if his perspective is really so unreasonable or not.

Can you understand where he’s coming from? Should his girlfriend be responsible for the bulk of the whole surgery cost?
