Her Husband Unexpectedly Filed For Divorce Since He Feels She Broke Their Vows Before The Wedding Happened

“I asked about marriage counseling/therapy many times and encouraged him to have hobbies/pursue friendships and seek happiness – I could tell he was not satisfied with his life,” she added.

One day, her husband unexpectedly filed for divorce, and she had no idea why he made this decision.

Although he listed the reasons as growing apart, being incompatible, and his autism, she knew there was more going on.

She then found out six months into the divorce process the real reason why her husband no longer wanted to be with her.

“Then I discovered he had a close friendship with a female coworker that he had hidden from me, and admitted during the divorce process that he was going to start dating her,” she said.

“At this point, he also disclosed that my overstepping friendship boundaries before we were married was the reason for his trust issues, and he could not overcome that.”

“I was devastated and felt the whole marriage was a sham after hearing that I should have done more to prove I was trustworthy. But he didn’t raise this as something he was fighting with.”

She feels guilty and ashamed, especially since her husband continues to say amid their divorce that she broke their vows prior to their wedding even happening.

What advice do you have for her?
