Her Best Friend’s Basically Wearing Underwear For Halloween, So She Asked Her To Pick A More Appropriate Costume For Trick-Or-Treating With Her Little Sister

“She looked awesome, but I told her that her outfit wasn’t really appropriate to trick or treat with children,” she added.

“I told her that it was amazing for the club, but maybe not to be around children and parents. She told me that there was nothing inappropriate; she was dressed as a devil like many people/kids.”

She asked Ellie to please wear something different while they took her little sister trick-or-treating and suggested she change into that costume prior to heading out to the club.

That only enraged Ellie, who felt that she was shaming her. Ellie also accused her of being envious since she’s not pretty enough to pull off such an outlandish outfit.

Ellie then threw it in her face that she’s clearly concerned about not getting enough attention on Halloween. She had no idea what to say, so she remained silent as Ellie went on her tirade.

“I’m saying this again: I have no problem with the outfit itself, and this is not me trying to control what she can or can’t wear,” she continued.

“I’m just saying, we’re going to be surrounded by children, so it feels inappropriate. I don’t necessarily feel like my request was unreasonable, but I can understand why it feels controlling to her. I don’t know. Am I in the wrong here?”
