He picked up his phone and tried to call his family to alert them about the stranger. He knew exactly what to do in this situation, as he had looked into it in the past.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to place the call, as his phone had been newly gifted to him, and the service hadn’t been correctly set up.
So, although he was dialing in a panic, he couldn’t get any of the calls to go through. He made a quick decision to pretend as if that wasn’t the case, and he started talking like his mom had picked up.
He very loudly stated his location while describing the person trailing him, even though it was difficult to see them since their face was covered.
When he turned once more to take a look at the person behind him, they had vanished into thin air.
“Weeks later, my mom told me that a police officer had come into her work and warned about abductions that had been happening in our area, specifically for child trafficking and organ trade,” he added.
“I count myself as very lucky, and whenever I leave the house now, I am very aware, only doing so during the day..”
“There was a point later on in that neighborhood that a car clearly followed me, turning around into a cul-de-sac where there was no logical reason for them to be except for me, but this was the most obvious example of attempted [kidnapping].”
