He Wanted His Wife To Stay At A Job She Hated Since They Had The Opportunity To Become Millionaires

“The rate the company is growing and projected to be in five years would effectively make us a little over $1 million,” he revealed.

In his opinion, that would set him and his wife up for the rest of his lives, which is why he wanted her to remain at her job.

To his surprise, though, his wife actually turned down the offer and is still searching for another position.

On the one hand, he feels selfish for even considering telling his wife to “tough it out” for another five years. At the end of the day, he wants her to be happy.

“That’s all I really want. But it’s also a lot of money to us,” he vented.

Now, he can’t help but wonder if hoping his wife would remain at a job she despised since they could potentially become millionaires was understandable or made him a jerk.

If his wife turned down a potential return that significant, is it clear she truly can’t stand her work? Is her mental health more important than $1 million?
