He threatened to cut off her allowance and take back her new car if she does drop out of college in order to travel.
“She lost it, saying I’m trying to control her life and that I can’t take away the things I’ve already given her,” he said/
“She also claims I’m punishing her for wanting to live her life. I feel like I’m being reasonable here — she can make her choices, but I shouldn’t have to fund them if I don’t agree with them. Still, she’s my daughter, and I don’t want to ruin our relationship over this.”
He’s left wondering if it was wrong of him to make that threat. What do you think?
