He Started A Savings Account For His Daughter That’s Over $8,000, But His Ex-Wife Thinks She’s Entitled To Half

“Her logic is that since we ‘share’ custody of my daughter, she deserves half of my daughter’s gift money,” he revealed.

So now, his ex-wife is demanding that he hand over half of the cash from his daughter’s savings account.

He was taken aback and asked his ex-wife about all the money her side of the family gifted his daughter and where those funds were. Ironically, she claimed it was none of his business.

Anyway, he doesn’t think his wife is entitled to half of his daughter’s savings, which is now totaled at over $8,000, because she received it all from birthdays, Christmas, and other special occasions.

‘And the ex-wife wants half of that, and I doubt she will put it in a savings account for my kid,” he vented.

Still, with his ex giving him so much pushback over this, he’s not sure if refusing to split the savings really is wrong.

Do you agree with his ex-wife, or should he hold on to all the cash for his daughter?
