He Just Found Out His Wife Had An Affair With A Coworker Six Years Ago, But She Thinks Her Cheating Is Irrelevant Now And That They Need To Move On

His wife, on the other hand, insists that her cheating is “irrelevant” right now and actually accused him of overreacting. She believes they need to move on since their marriage is stronger now.

Still, to him, it seems like their trust has been completely broken.

“I’m torn because I still love her, but I don’t know if I can get past the fact that she kept this from me for so long. She says it’s ancient history, but to me, it feels like it just happened,” he vented.

This has left him wondering whether being unable to let her affair go is understandable or really does make him the jerk here.

Is he allowed to feel hurt about his wife’s infidelity, even if it was a long time ago? What advice would you give him?
