His ex hit back that their son felt “excluded” at the party since he was the only one who couldn’t have pizza that night.
“She said I could have dropped him off at hers, and she could have looked after him for the evening or even hired a babysitter or something because apparently he found the whole thing “humiliating,” he said.
“Also, “there was a risk of cross-contamination, and he shouldn’t be allowed to just go to random restaurants.”
“So now I feel bad, and I realize maybe he did feel a little different, but I didn’t realize it had upset him so much.”
He’s left wondering if it was mean of him to include his son in the birthday party, even though he couldn’t have pizza with everyone else.
