There’s An Official Name For The Fear of Friday The 13th, Paraskevidekatriaphobia, And Here’s Why This Day Is Supposedly Unlucky

The unluckiness of Friday and the number 13 were originally two different superstitions, and there’s a theory that they were brought together in the early 1900s.

An American stockbroker wrote a novel titled Friday the 13th, which featured a stockbroker as the main character who stirred up a panic on Wall Street on that particular day.

So, should we be concerned about Friday the 13th? Probably not. It seems like the misfortune surrounding that day is all in people’s heads. But even though it’s just a myth, it can still be fun to play along and add an eerie vibe to an otherwise ordinary day.
