I just don’t want to see her trapped in a toxic marriage.”
Emily is currently no longer speaking with her, and she has asked one of their mutual friends to be her Maid of Honor instead.
She’s left feeling shattered and as if she’s losing Emily. A piece of her believes she perhaps should have just said yes to Emily in order to maintain their relationship.
However, another piece of her thinks it was right of her to stand up for her belief that John isn’t the right pick for Emily.
