Other friends even accused her of making the situation “weird for no reason.”
For her, the most shocking part was how her own best friend insinuated that it’d be selfish of her not to show up. Why? Well, her best friend believed her lack of attendance could make things awkward for the rest of their friend group.
She realizes that she and her ex share the same circle.
“But it feels like going would make me uncomfortable, and I don’t want to put myself in that position just to prove a point,” she vented.
Nonetheless, since getting such mixed feedback, she’s now unsure if refusing to be at her ex’s wedding is really so crazy or not.
