His Girlfriend Called Him Selfish And Lazy For Not Getting Lunch With Her Mother On The Anniversary Of His Brother’s Death, Even Though He Has His Own Traditions For That Day Each Year

Given the bad timing, he wound up telling Anna no and told her again about everything he does on the anniversary each year.

Yet, rather than understanding or being the least bit sympathetic, Anna just got upset and tried to compare.

“Well, it’s my tradition to have lunch with my mom every time she’s in town, and she really wanted to see you! You can do your stupid blood donation tradition any day,” his girlfriend responded.

He was taken aback by her reaction and pointed out how it wasn’t just about donating blood. He also held his ground and refused to go to lunch.

Still, later that same evening, when he was just trying to rest and watch his brother’s favorite movie, his girlfriend had the nerve to text him and ask again if he could see her mother.

“I reiterated that I really didn’t want to and would hang out with her mom next time,” he reasoned.

This pushed his girlfriend to go off on him. She accused him of actually embarrassing her in front of her mother by being “selfish” and “lazy.”

She’s been acting really distant as well, and now, he doesn’t know if he should apologize to her or not.

How would you feel if your partner acted so inconsiderate? Is his girlfriend the one who owes him an apology? What advice would you give him?
