Ever since that fateful phone call, he’s been grappling with whether or not his future mother-in-law is telling him the truth, or if she’s simply trying to cause the demise of his relationship before he gets to the altar.
He did bring up what his future mother-in-law said to his fiancée, who promises that his money is not the reason why she wants to spend her life by his side.
He is inclined to believe what his fiancée says, but he can’t shake the fear that he now has surrounding the money issue.
