Anyway, she was completely taken aback by her mother-in-law’s suggestion and actually had to excuse herself from the conversation. Then, only a couple of minutes later, she received a text from her husband’s ex herself.
“Saying how bad she felt for me that I couldn’t experience motherhood personally, and how much she wanted to facilitate that experience for me,” she detailed.
Once her husband’s ex officially offered to be her surrogate, though, she immediately turned down the idea.
She also postponed the entire discussion of having children with her husband and is actually considering filing for divorce over this.
She simply finds it very fishy that his ex would ever want to do such a thing.
Nonetheless, before she pulls the trigger on ending her marriage, she can’t help but wonder if she’s overreacting.
Could there be an ulterior motive at play here? Or is it possible that her husband’s ex was actually just trying to help? How would you feel in her shoes?
