“But today, he texted me the bill and asked me to split it, which honestly threw me off. It wasn’t my idea to go to a pub. I didn’t drink much, and I didn’t even ask him out, yet he expected me to split the cost.”
She also lives around 14 miles away from the pub, so it cost her a pretty penny to take a cab there and back.
She’s left feeling shocked, as he seemed to be an educated, amazing guy, and how he acted on date two didn’t line up with her impression of him.
“I’m disappointed, not just because of the bill, but because the whole experience made me feel deceived,” she continued.
She’s not certain if she should confront him over the bill or if she should ignore him.
“Am I being too rigid with the dating scene with my own high standards?” she wondered.
