What she’s distraught about is not that her boyfriend slept with other girls, as this happened prior to them having a conversation about being official.
“I just feel like if I was smaller than him, he wouldn’t have even felt the need to do this, let alone tell me about it as if I should be grateful,” she added.
To her, it was as if her boyfriend was throwing it in her face that he could have any girl he wants, but he’s somehow settling for her.
“I’m fully aware I’m probably overthinking this,” she continued. “I’ve just done so much work to be comfortable in my own skin after years of self-hatred and eating disorders, and I feel like I’m right back in that headspace again now because of one offhand comment.”
