He Spontaneously Proposed To His Girlfriend, And She Said Yes, But He Feels Bad That He Didn’t Have A Ring Or Give A Big Speech

“It’s killing me because I only asked her that since I knew I wanted her to be with me for the rest of my life and also because it felt like the right moment,” he reasoned.

To make matters worse, when he told his friend about how it happened, his friend couldn’t believe that he didn’t have a ring or a speech or even say his girlfriend’s name while asking for her hand in marriage.

Thankfully, his fiancée apparently didn’t care about any of those things and reassured him that it was perfect.

“But I love her so much, and I wish I could’ve made it better like the movies,” he vented.

This has left him wondering whether spontaneously proposing without any of the traditional aspects was actually a jerky thing to do.

Do you think that proposals have to be fancy and performative? Or can unplanned moments sometimes be even more meaningful?
