He Left His Girlfriend Of Six Years After He Proposed To Her Twice, And She Said No To Marrying Him Both Times

Regardless of that, his girlfriend just asked if he could wait a little while longer until they were in a more “stable place,” and he was okay with that.

About eight months later, he believed it was finally time, too. Apparently, his girlfriend started dropping hints that she was ready to tie the knot – saying things like “I can’t wait for our wedding. Our wedding is going to be spectacular,” and, “I am so looking forward to my dad walking me down the aisle.”

He still waited until just over a year passed since his first proposal, and at that point, he popped the question again.

That time, he decided to do it more privately – with just him and his girlfriend there after a great date night.

Once he opened the engagement ring box, though, his girlfriend just became silent and denied him for a second time. She simply replied, “No, not yet… maybe a little more down the line.”

“After this second refusal, I fell out of love with her. It sounds cold, but it was the truth,” he admitted.

Upon arriving home that evening, he went to sleep in their guest bedroom alone and reflected on their relationship all night.

And the following morning, when his girlfriend asked why he’d slept separately from her, he came clean about his feelings. He also claimed that they needed to split up.

“I informed her that I take marriage very seriously, and I do not want to be led on. And this time, this no was the final no on the subject,” he revealed.

He proceeded to give his girlfriend one month to find a new place and move out. Still, in the wake of their breakup, all of her friends and family members haven’t stopped sending him furious texts and emails.

They are calling him a heartless jerk and believe he should give his girlfriend “more time.”
