He Left An Airbnb That Charged $700 A Night And Wrote A Bad Review Because The Property Didn’t Match The Listing Online At All, But The Host Accused Him Of Ruining Their Business

If you couldn’t have guessed, though, the host was furious about this. They actually freaked out and sent him a ton of messages – believing that he should’ve provided them with an opportunity to “fix it” before leaving a review that could ruin their business.

“Meanwhile, my wife is saying I was too harsh and that maybe we should’ve just dealt with it or at least given them a chance to make it right,” he detailed.

To be clear, his wife agrees that the listing “sucked.” Still, she thinks that he moved too quickly, and the bad review was quite unnecessary.

“I just didn’t wanna spend our vacation feeling ripped off and uncomfortable,” he vented.

Nonetheless, his wife has made him second-guess himself, and now, he’s not sure if leaving the Airbnb because it “didn’t live up to the hype” was really so unreasonable or not.

How would you feel if a listing online deceived you like that? Did he have a right to get a refund and leave his honest review?
