He Doesn’t Want To Share His Late Wife’s Money With His New Wife’s Children

“I told her we still had a good life,” he said. “We just didn’t have all the luxuries. And like a lot of families, we struggled when inflation hit, but we were still doing good.”

His wife still pushed him to cave in, insisting they could pay for all four of the kids to do extracurricular activities, and then they could work towards putting money aside to save.

He still told his wife no, so she said he was not being reasonable. He doesn’t agree and thinks he is doing the right thing with the money.

“She told me I’m acting like my late wife had left a will with instructions, which she didn’t, and she also accused me of treating my stepdaughter and my youngest child like they are less deserving,” he continued.

“I said the money is not mine. It was my late wife’s, and it will be our children’s, and that my wife should stop treating it as anything else.”

There’s no way that his wife can get a hold of the money he’s squirreling away for his kids, and in the event something unexpectedly happens to him, he’s made arrangements to ensure his kids solely inherit the cash.

He’s left wondering if his wife is right and if it’s wrong of him to keep this money just for his two kids.
