Afterward, once her spiel was over, he spilled the beans about how he was behind the fake Instagram account and obviously already knew about her infidelity.
His girlfriend was shocked and totally freaked out on him. In fact, he was apparently forced to leave his apartment and stay at a friend’s place just to get away from her.
“She was gone along with most of her clothes when I came back the next day. And she’d completely trashed the place while I was gone,” he revealed.
Now, this all went down a few weeks ago, and he’s been trying to cope with the fallout since then.
It hasn’t been fun dividing up their belongings and finding a new apartment while trying to move on.
On top of that, he ultimately found out who his girlfriend was cheating with, and it was a guy he’d met numerous times. They’d even shaken hands, and he never thought anything was going on between them.
“Mostly, I feel like an idiot for having trusted her. I’ve never cheated on anyone, and I assumed she was cut out of the same cloth,” he vented.
His girlfriend, on the other hand, thinks he’s a total jerk for tricking her like that, and he can’t help but wonder if she might have a point.
Can you understand why he wanted to make sure his girlfriend couldn’t lie her way out of this, hence the trick? Did he go too far, or did she deserve it?
