Anyway, after that, the conversation continued a bit more from there, and it was obvious that his girlfriend was seriously angry at him.
She’s even brought the topic back up again on multiple occasions since then.
“And she told me every man she’s been with would have told her they would defend her, at which point I told her they would be delusional or liars,” he revealed.
Nonetheless, this totally hypothetical situation has left a lot of tension in their relationship. Now, he’s not sure if telling his girlfriend he would leave her in the event of a bear encounter was really so rude.
