3 Delicious Tomato Recipes To Help You Use Up Your Summer Harvest

by

First, begin cooking your pasta. Next, grab a large pan, put it over medium heat, and generously coat the bottom with some olive oil.

Throw in all of your garlic cloves and cook them for several minutes, until they are fragrant. Then, add in your tomatoes, a pinch of salt, and a sprinkle of oregano.

Cook this together until the liquid is thickening up and the tomatoes begin to blister. Take a wooden spoon and smash your tomatoes up.

Continue simmering with the Calabrian chili added. To finish your dish, add in your cream and boil it on low heat for a bit more time.

A couple of minutes before you’re done, drain your pasta, reserve some of the water, and add that to your sauce, along with some Parmesan. Cook for an additional two or three minutes on low, and stir until the sauce is thick.

Restaurant Style Salsa

TikToker @ale.reeg has an amazing recipe for restaurant-style salsa, which is a great way to make use of tomatoes from your garden.

She says you can absolutely add more heat to this if you like, but she made this for her son’s school and kept it on the less spicy side.
