“Then she came over to our house the day after we [took] Owen home, and then she came over every day and stayed for hours. She’d always try to take him out of our arms.”
In addition to constantly inviting herself over to see and hold Owen, Jess would start chiming in and voicing her opinion regarding their parenting techniques, making her and Jack uncomfortable.
She and Jack finally snapped when one day, Jess was over at their house the second week in a row and picked up Owen, saying, “Come to Mama.”
“I yelled that she wasn’t his mom and that she is no longer welcome in my home,” she said.
“She then sent me a bunch of angry texts claiming I was so ungrateful.”
Was she wrong to snap at her surrogate, or did the surrogate cross the line?
