She felt hurt that her mom absolutely insinuated that she shouldn’t be grumbling or protesting the decision she made.
“On one hand, this makes my blood boil. On the other hand, I feel sorry for her. I will never be like my mother, I swear,” she said.
“She did this in spite of [the] fact that my father, before passing away a decade ago, verbally told her they should give equally to all three children.”
“No, my mother is not a stepmother. She just likes my brother a whole lot more than either of or both of us combined.”
