Accepting What Isn’t Working Is A Sign You’ve Outgrown One Chapter Of Your Life And Are Ready For Something New

Most people tell us that outgrowing something is actually a good thing and an exciting indicator that we’re ready to move on to something better, but not that many people acknowledge how terrifying it can be.

I know many adults who can remember the exact moment they knew they were ready to leave their old jobs but were terrified about the massive change that comes with quitting their former position and entering a new one.

Still, most of them did it and found their dream job, or at least something very close to their dream job.

Accepting that you’ve outgrown something may be scary. But to help ease the blow, it’s important to remember that once you do, you’re ready to enter a new chapter of your life.

You shouldn’t be scared of losing yourself when you outgrow something; you’re still the same person you were, but you simply have different needs.

So stop thinking about losing parts of yourself and your life, and instead, get excited about the idea of entering a new chapter.

Sure, some parts of that chapter may be sad or scary, but it’s better to try something new instead of never finding out what’s possible.

And with that, if you feel that you’re entering a new chapter of your life and outgrowing a certain situation, I wish you the best of luck in the future and encourage you not to hold back.

Can you remember the last time you felt like you entered a new chapter of your life?
