She Wouldn’t Pay For Her Friend’s Dinner After They Forgot Their Wallet, Even Though It Was Her Friend’s Birthday

Then, later that same night, Sarah actually texted her and accused her of being unreasonable by not paying for Lisa’s dinner – especially because it was Lisa’s birthday.

“Lisa also sent me a long message saying she felt humiliated and that a true friend wouldn’t have made such a big deal out of it,” she vented.

Since then, the rest of her friend group has been divided on the situation. Some people believe she was too harsh, while others think she had a right to set a boundary.

So now, she’s not sure if refusing to pay for her friend’s dinner on their birthday was justified or made her a jerk.

Can you understand why she’s annoyed by her friend often forgetting their wallet? Even so, was the night of her friend’s birthday dinner the right time to put her foot down on this?
