She Wouldn’t Lend Her Friend $500 Since She Didn’t Want To Enable His Bad Money Management Habits Anymore, But He Said She Wasn’t A True Friend

Well, to say that John was angry would be an understatement. He immediately became furious with her after she said that and accused her of not caring about him. He even claimed that she wasn’t a “true friend.”

On top of that, John pointed out how she has plenty of money now – since she has a good job – and believed it was “easy” for her to judge him.

In the wake of their argument, she can’t help but feel really upset, too, because she honestly does care about John.

“But I also don’t want to keep enabling behavior that I think is harmful to him in the long run,” she vented.

Still, she’s not sure if refusing to lend John any more money is the right move or if she really is acting like a bad friend.

Do you agree that continuing to lend John money won’t help him become more independent and responsible? Or should she help him out again? What would you do?
