But strangely, authorities found no clues indicating that Kimberly had planned to leave. Rather, in her calendar, there were written upcoming dates for scheduled appointments.
It was also discovered that, shortly before Kimberly vanished, she had received a death benefit pension check after her father passed away. Both her purse and the check were missing from the apartment, too.
So, a stop was placed on the check, but no one ever attempted to deposit or cash it.
Investigators do suspect that foul play was involved in Kimberly’s disappearance, and there is a $25,000 reward being offered for information that leads to her discovery.
Nonetheless, the exact circumstances surrounding her case are still unknown, and her disappearance has remained unsolved for over 15 years.
At the time she vanished, Kimberly was between five feet tall and five foot two, weighed between 110 and 115 pounds, and had brown hair and blue eyes.
She also had a tattoo of a red rose with the name “Kimmie Sue” on her right shoulder. The stem of the rose had a tattoo of the name “Jack.”
