Christie and Wyatt decided to name the baby Levi and went through with the adoption process. At first, they were Levi’s foster parents, but the adoption was made official just before his second birthday.
Now, Levi is living happily in a loving home, being raised by Christie and Wyatt, and having lots of fun with his four older siblings.
In addition to her social media posts, Christie shares more details of her experience and brave adoption journey in her book, “Life’s Sad Story, God’s Love Story: Transforming a Child’s Adversity into a Tale of Love,” which was published in April 2024.
