Her Friend Ordered The Most Expensive Steak On The Menu And Expected Her To Pay For Everyone At Her Own Birthday Dinner, Even Though That Was Never The Plan

She reiterated how the plan was only for her to cover appetizers and desserts – not entrees. Yet, for some reason, Anna just became really upset and claimed that, since she invited everyone out to dinner, she should be covering the entire bill.

“I stood my ground and told her that wasn’t the agreement and that it wasn’t fair for her to order something so expensive, expecting me to cover it,” she said.

Thankfully, the rest of her friends had her back, too. Nonetheless, Anna still refused to pay and actually left the restaurant – leaving her with the steak bill.

Since then, Anna has also begun trash-talking her to their other mutual friends, accusing her of ruining the night and “embarrassing her.”

So now, she’s not sure if refusing to pay for her friend’s expensive dinner at her own birthday celebration really did make her a jerk.

Don’t people usually “treat” the birthday girl at dinner, not the other way around? Was her friend acting entitled? How would you have dealt with this situation?
